Do you find prayer difficult? This book is for you! Stan Evers explores Paul’s prayers and teaching on prayer in his letter to the Ephesians. Prayer is essential because the Christian life is not a playground but a war zone.
Our malicious enemy, Satan, has a vast army of spiritual forces at his command. Prayer is like a diamond with six facets: variety, praying in the Spirit, alertness, persistence, praying for all the saints and for spiritual leaders. Paul’s teaching on prayer leads into praise in a wonderful doxology (Ephesians 6:10–24). The author wants his readers to come with excitement and enjoyment to God, who is a caring and gracious Father.
