This book covers the Bible from three points of view:
* God’s work of creation, and redemption, and the accompanying covenants.
* A historical view of the Bible record recovered in seven dispensations.
* The prophetic scope of the Scriptures.
No work covering so vast an amount of material is going to find complete agreement among those who read it. However, there are been few publications, outside of the Bible itself, that have had and wider study and acceptance over a longer period of time than this work of Dr Graves.
Even those who were opposed Dr Graves’ work were constrained to acknowledge he was a profound student of the scripture, and a great logician. Of all his writings, this volume is perhaps the most widely known, and anyone who masters its content can no longer possess a mere casual understanding of the Bible, for as one reader stated “this work is Biblically accurate and theologically sound.”
