Carrington County Sheriff's Office dive team is made up of volunteers from all areas of the sheriff’s office trained to perform underwater investigations. Ryan Parker is a homicide investigator and volunteer on the team. Leigh Weston is an oncology nurse practitioner who is being stalked by a patient. She decides to move home to Carrington, North Carolina and takes a job in the emergency department of the local hospital. When someone tampers with Leigh’s brakes she asks Ryan, her once high school friend, for help. While on a training exercise, he discovers the body of a businessman at the bottom of the lake. His investigation uncovers a possible serial killer with a connection Leigh. Now multiple members of the dive team work together to uncover the truth and stop a killer before it’s too late.
