We face innumerable threats to our peace and stability. The storms of life--illness, disappointment, and tragedy--can strike us so suddenly. In the midst of our personal storms we may struggle to find a place to anchor our lives. We may forget to anchor our souls to the solid Rock.
Just as an anchor provides stability amidst the storm because it is fixed on a solid object, so the promises of God in Christ are sure and steadfast. This book directs readers to the sure and certain promises of God and reminds them of the hope that is found in God. Christian hope is that which is anchored firmly to Christ.
